Job Description:

This is a full time position, however part-time candidates will be considered.

At Axiom Planning, your contributions will be impactful and diverse.  We are looking for a talented individual with a knack for generating new business and a passion for outstanding planning.  In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of projects, with ample opportunities to influence the firm’s direction.  This senior position offers a clear path to advance towards a Director-level role.

You will get involved with all forms of planning work, including:

  • Drive new business opportunities with your exceptional networking and client relationship skills.

  • Lead the charge on planning applications and appeals, turning visions into reality.

  • Conduct insightful site appraisals and planning assessments.

  • Forge strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, becoming their go-to planning guru.

  • Deliver expert planning advice that sets us apart from the competition.

  • Fielding new enquiries and assisting with the preparation of fee proposals.

  • Supporting other team members in a mentoring and knowledge sharing capacity, where appropriate.

  • Supporting the general running of the firm by carrying out administrative tasks as needed.

What You Bring

It is essential you have the following;

  • A demonstrable and stellar track record in generating new business and securing planning consents.

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently.

  • Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or on the path to achieving it.

  • Good time management skills and an ability to work under pressure on multiple projects.
